Our check-up offers

A check-up serves for the early detection of relevant diseases, individual risk assessment, and structured medical prevention. In our practice, the investigation is carried out internally, guideline-oriented, and with modern diagnostics.

For out-of-town patients and self-payers, diagnostics can often be bundled into one appointment. For German private patients, the process takes place in several shorter appointments for GOÄ and documentation reasons. The medical significance remains unchanged.

Basic check-up program (Basiccheck)

The basic check is suitable for general prevention, risk assessment, and follow-up of internal medical findings.

• Medical admission interview and physical examination
• Comprehensive laboratory tests (depending on risk profile / question)
• Resting EKG
• Stress EKG (ergometry)
• Lung function (spirometry)
• If necessary: 24-hour blood pressure measurement or 24-hour long-term EKG
• Echocardiography including 4D color Doppler echocardiography
• Ultrasound of the brain-supplying neck vessels (duplex sonography)
• Ultrasound of the thyroid gland
• Abdominal ultrasound (liver, gallbladder, kidneys, pancreas, spleen, possibly abdominal vessels)

Extended check-up program

The extended check-up program supplements the basic check in cases of increased risk constellation, striking pre-findings, or specific questions.

• Extended laboratory and special examinations
• Extended cardiological diagnostics
• Lung function (spirometry)
• If necessary: 24-hour blood pressure measurement or 24-hour long-term EKG
• Echocardiography including 4D color Doppler echocardiography
• Ultrasound of the brain-supplying neck vessels (duplex)
• Ultrasound of the thyroid gland
• Abdominal ultrasound (liver, gallbladder, kidneys, pancreas, spleen, possibly abdominal vessels)
• Blood sampling with extended blood tests
• Additional immune and allergy tests
• Individual extension according to personal risk profile

On request / according to medical indication:

• Capsule endoscopy
• Gastroduodenoscopy and ileocoloscopy (short anesthesia) including sample collection, possibly polypectomy and examination for Helicobacter pylori

Optional and additionally negotiable:

• Stress echocardiography (stress echo)

Goal of the check-up programs

The goal is a precise medical classification and not an untargeted maximum diagnostics. The focus is on understandable findings, clear recommendations, and meaningful therapy or follow-up concepts, avoiding unnecessary measures.

All examinations are carried out exclusively according to medical indication. The presented programs do not replace individually necessary specialized medical treatment.
